World premiere: Y5 forged CL for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS at the Essen Motor Show

The time has finally come – the brand new PROTRACK Y5 forged CL celebrates its world premiere!

At this year's Essen Motor Show (November 29 to December 7, Hall 7 / Booth E22), we will be showcasing our latest highlight: an ultra-light forged wheel with central locking, developed specifically for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992).

After our success with the ONE forged and Y5 forged wheels for BMW M models, it was clear that there was still room for improvement. And how! With the Y5 forged CL, we are setting new standards in performance, lightweight construction, and precision. This wheel is built for maximum stress on the racetrack—and at the same time is available with TÜV certification for road use.

The abbreviation CL stands for Center Lock – and that's where the difference begins: The Y5 forged CL was specifically developed for vehicles with center locks and has everything that true track enthusiasts love:

• Maximum stiffness with minimum weight
• CNC 5-axis milling technology for maximum precision
• Knurling on both rim shoulders to prevent tire slippage at the limit
• Open spokes for uncompromising lightweight construction

The Y5 forged CL will be available in the following sizes from spring 2026:

Front axle: 9.5 x 20“ and 10.0 x 20”
Rear axle: 12.0 x 21“ and 13.0 x 21”

Compatible with the Porsche 911 Turbo, GTS, GT3, and GT3 RS (992).

An absolute highlight awaits you at our stand: A white Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992) showcases the Y5 forged CL in all its glory – mounted in 10.0 x 20“ at the front and 13.0 x 21” at the rear. We will also be presenting the legendary VW Golf 8 Clubsport 24h from Max Kruse Racing, winner of the 24h Nürburgring AT3 class and first overall winner of the NLS with alternative fuel – naturally on PROTRACK ONE TCR Gen2 wheels.
