Wheels for motorsports and all track tool enthusiasts have always been at the core of the company founded by Christoph Penisch, founder and CEO of PROTRACK GmbH. What began with the organization of track days and the sale of rims and tires led to the founding of the PROTRACK brand in 2016 – with the clear goal of developing its own wheels that meet the requirements of modern track and motorsport use.

Working together with engineers experienced in racing, lightweight and high-strength cast wheels manufactured using the flow forming process were developed in a short period of time. The PROTRACK ONE design developed in this process combines high brake clearance, stability, and low weight with a clear, functional design language – and is now one of the most widely used wheels on European racetracks.
An important step followed last year with the introduction of the first forged wheels, ONE forged and Y5 forged, which were developed specifically for the BMW M models of the F and G series. They consistently expanded the portfolio in the direction of higher strength and weight optimization, without losing sight of the everyday practicality typical of PROTRACK.

To give visitors a direct impression of the new forged wheel on the vehicle, a white Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992) will be on display at the booth, fitted with the
The second exhibit on display at the stand is the VW Golf 8 Clubsport 24h from Max Kruse Racing – the vehicle that not only won its class in the AT3 category at the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring, but was also the first vehicle ever to take overall victory in the NLS with alternative fuel.
The car is on display in racing trim and rolls on the proven PROTRACK ONE in the new TCR Gen2 variant. The 10.0 x 18“ wheels are colored white and red to match the GTi's ”50th anniversary" design.
PROTRACK will also be showcasing the RTS GT.II, a two-piece wheel in a classic Y-spoke design from Swiss brand RTS wheels, whose products are distributed exclusively in the EU by PROTRACK.
Of course, all other available PROTRACK designs in various colors and sizes will also be on display at the trade fair stand.

Today's PROTRACK GmbH was founded in 2001 under the name Profilreifen24 GmbH by Christoph Penisch in Gräfendorf. In addition to organising and running trackdays on racetracks in Germany and neighbouring countries, the company set up its own online shop in 2005 to sell racing tyres and rims.
