We show you our new design Y5 at the Essen Motor Show

After last year's edition of the Essen Motor Show in particular was a great success with a stand that was always well attended over all days of the fair, we will also be represented this year with our own stand, where there will once again be plenty for you to discover.

You can find us from 01.12. - 10.12. in hall 7 on stand E22.

The big star on our stand is called "Y5" (pronounced: [ˈwaɪ] [ˈfaɪv]), which already anticipates the shape of the new light alloy wheel. The star of the Y5 consists of five Y-shaped double spokes that converge concavely towards the hub and end in the deep-set rim well.
The wheel will be presented to the global public for the first time by our Managing Director Christoph Penisch on Press and Trade Visitor Day (Friday, 01.12.2023) at 9:45 am.
From the second half of 2024, the light alloy wheel manufactured using the flow forming process will then be available in the sizes 10.5, 11.0, 11.5 and 12.0 x 19 inches.

Picture: There is a lot on offer at our stand: In addition to a first look at the new Y5 design for 2024, there will also be the BMW M2 from VERSUS Performance on two different wheel designs, specially prepared for the trade fair.

"With the Y5, we are presenting a new development that, like our successful Design ONE, is also aimed at our racing and track sports enthusiasts. Of course, we have once again used all the technical tricks to create a wheel that is as light and stable as possible and offers maximum clearance, even for generously dimensioned high-performance brake systems, so that it can later be mounted on many different sports cars.
ZInitially, however, we are targeting drivers of BMW M vehicles from the G-series (M2 G87, M3 G80, M4 G82), for which the Y5 is offered with a suitable bolt circle and offset," adds our Managing Director Christoph Penisch.

Of course, alloy wheels always look best where they belong - on the vehicle.
In 95% of cases, this means that it is a sporty vehicle that has been optimized in terms of engine, chassis and equipment to offer maximum fun on the racetrack. It is therefore not surprising that three vehicles of this type were on show at this year's stand.

FThe E36 BMW 3 Series is still at the top of many people's list for an affordable entry into motorsport, which is why some visitors will certainly be happy to finally find this must-have at our stand (albeit in the somewhat more expensive M version). The example on display was thoroughly gutted by VOSS Competition and prepared for use on the racetrack. In keeping with the pre-Christmas period, the Christmas bauble red M3 is fitted with golden PROTRACK ONE wheels in 9.0 x 17" all-round. The dimensions of the fitted NANKANG AR-1 semi-slicks are 235/45 R17.

Also on the stand is a Hyundai i30N from Speed Engineering, which is equipped in TCR look with matt black ONE in 10.5 x 18" on the front axle and 9.5 x 18" on the rear axle.

For most visitors, however, this year's highlight vehicle on our stand is likely to be the BMW M2 G87 from VERSUS Performance, which was specially designed for the Essen Motor Show. The black vehicle shines with orange accents, which provide a worthy frame for the 10.5 x 19" PROTRACK ONE, also in bright orange, mounted on the driver's side. To give the vehicle the best possible grip, it is fitted with wide NANKANG AR-1 semi-slicks in size 305/30 R19. On the passenger side, the BMW is fitted with RTS wheels alloy wheels. The polished wheel dish manufactured using the flow forming process and the silver-painted rim spider of the 11.0 x 19" GT.II are held together by a total of 24 rear-mounted bolts that are flush with the front.

Speaking of the RTS GT.II - in addition to its place on the passenger side of the BMW M2, the two-piece wheel in the classic Y-spoke design of the Swiss brand RTS wheels will also be given a more exclusive exhibition space between the vehicles on the stand.

Of course, all other available designs in various colors and sizes will also be on display.
