Knurled tire contact surface on the rim shoulder of the PROTRACK ONE prevents the tire from twisting unintentionally on the rim

14 July 2020

Even though the circuit courses in Europe opened a little later this year due to the Corona situation, those of you with petrol in your blood will naturally be drawn to the circuits. Especially with the high loads during longitudinal and lateral acceleration, tires start to spin unintentionally on the rim. The resulting dynamic imbalance not only leads to unwanted vibrations and increased wear, but also to poorer handling and longer braking distances.

In order to prevent rotation between rim and tire, we deliver all motorsport and road wheels of the type ONE from the production period 11/2019 onwards with knurled contact surfaces on the rim shoulder.

The 5 mm wide knurling RAA according to DIN 82The 5 mm wide knurling RAA according to DIN 82 is intended to prevent the tire from twisting on the rim. The procedure is used as standard on all PROTRACK ONE wheels from production date 11/2019

New application list + tracktool special

15 April 2020

We have updated our application list so that, thanks to the latest data from the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), most currently available wheel/vehicle combinations are clearly listed with part certificates.

But also for friends of sporty vehicles and tracktool lovers we have many wheels in our program, which in combination with strength certificates and individual acceptance make your own vehicle something very special. For the most common combinations we have created a Tracktool Special, which lists some vehicles and combinations. The Tracktool Special is constantly being expanded by us.

And very up-to-date: According to a decision of the Bundesrat (upper house of parliament) the single acceptance according to §21 StVZO can be carried out nationwide by all testing organisations since 22.03.2019.
